We will be working on writing and speaking activities during this week. We will use what we have learned so far to write a letter to a pen-pal (writing) and to introduce someone new in the school (speaking).
Tarea (HW)
Lunes (Monday): Write 5 questions you would ask to a new student
Martes (Tuesday): Answer those 5 questions
Miércoles (Wednesday): Prepare the oral presentation following teacher's instructions and the rubric
Jueves   (Thursday): If you haven't done your oral presentation, the preparation of it would be your hw.

REMEMBER:
This blog is just a tool to help you to remember certain activities we do in class and the hw for the week. Don't expect that this blog will tell you everything to do. No more excuses about it was not mentioned on the blog.  If you were in class, you should have known the assignments. You know that each activity done in class needs to be in the portafolio. Each of these activities needs to be complete and corrected.

We will continue working on descriptions using adjectives. Remember that in Spanish, the adjective needs to agree with the noun in number and gender:
Ana es graciosa  / Juan es gracioso/ Ana y juan son graciosos?

Lunes (Monday): Choose 10 adjectives from the list we have in the portafolio and write the femenine and the masculine form
Martes (Tuesday): ¿Cómo es Bart Simpson?

Remember to use different personal pronouns  like:Yo, tu, el...etc. If you are not coming on Monday November 22, or Tuesday 23, you can turn in this classwork on Monday November 29.

Definitely we will start verb Ir a (go to) We will also learn vocabulary about locations. We will learn how to express future events in Spanish as well.

Proyecto/ Project:
There is a three- page project due on Tuesday, November 9. It is about "Dia de los Muertos"
1st page: Copy paper: Colorful picture including 10 elements or symbos of this holiday. You will add one more element, your personal element. Remember you got the rubric for any graphic task last Friday. Please follow it. You also need to have the Spanish language integrated to this page.

2nd page: Notebook paper: 1. Explanation of this holiday - 10 lines 2.Reflection: a. What do you think about this holiday? b. Why did you choose that element? what does it mean? c. How would you celebrate it in America . This page is in English.

3rd page: Worksheet you got while you were watching the documentary.

Tarea / Homework:

1. Monday, November 8: Finish project
2. Tuesday, November 9: Find 10 more locations in your community. Write them down
3. Wednesday, November 10: What activities you do in those locations
