SEMANA 19/20: DEL 11 AL 20 DE DICIEMBRE (WEEK 19/20 FROM DECEMBER 11 TO 20)


The semester is getting to its end as well the second quarter. So you will need to be prepared to take either the mid-term exams or chapter test. Remember we will have scheduled the Spanish mid-term exam on Wednesday December 14. This exam will cover chapter 1 and 2 (vocabulary, grammar, culture, reading and dictado).

Sixth graders: Make sure to click on the following link @Home Tutor in the Class Zone web site in the next link to practice your grammar and vocabulary of the Unit 1 and 2
6th, 7th 8th: Portafolio checking for this coming week. This portafolio needs to be organized and complete to get the full credit.

NOTAS IMPORTANTES
You will get the report cards in January and you will also have advisory group in your homeroom class starting on January 11.
IB portfolios days will be on the 12th and 13th this week in all classes. You will receive your IB portfolio to file and reflect on your
favorite piece of work from Spanish -it could be an exemplary project, quiz, test, writing or any pictionario sample, etc.

SEMANA 18: DEL 5 AL 9 DE DICIEMBRE (WEEK18: FROM DECEMBER 5 TO 9)


The excitement of Christmas is in the air however it is very important you focus on your studies during these two weeks prior our break. It would be a good thing having a well- deserved winter break, verdad?

Project: VIRTUAL BOOK was due last Friday December 2. Most students have turned in this project however I am still waiting for the rest to do so. We will read some of these books in class.

Here is one student's project and a coment about it. 



"The project that is about the online book is very interesting and fun. At first before this project I never knew that there was an existing website for virtual 3D books. It was A LOT of fun trying to do this project in my opinion.
