This assignment is worth 50 points and will be graded over projects. You will be working in pairs or three. You will have two or three sections to work in class with your partner before presenting. You will have a designated date. You will have opportunity to see a SAMPLE OF THE PROJECT SO YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT. PRESENTATIONS WILL START AFTER OCTOBER 31 2017.

Task: Task: You will present some information about one of the celebrations or holidays of the Spanish-speaking world. YOU WILL CREATE A POWER POINT PRESENTATION TO USE WHEN PRESENTING (ORAL PRESENTATION). This power point must include information about celebration: ¿Qué? ¿Dónde? ¿Cómo? ¿Cuándo? Dibujo Vocabulario, resumen (summary) about the celebration in Spanish and a graphic organizer comparing this celebration with an American celebration. The oral presentation must have also an activity in Spanish where the rest of the students will participate, for example: a song, a poem, crossword- puzzle, a game, questions and answer, this activity is related to the celebration.  The celebrations and the holidays are a result of a long history of traditions that reflect the mix of primarily Spanish, indigenous, and African cultures. You will be able present how the Spanish-speaking world celebrates important holidays and how they compare to your own traditions.
