Last week we enjoyed our reading selections. Students have improved the reading/comprehension skills during our zone of reading -Zona de Lectura- They understand what "tema" and "idea principal" mean. We will come back to read more in a couple of weeks.
All my students took a grade report to home. Those students who got less than 75, they took deficiencies. I know they will do much better the rest of the quarter. Thanks parents for signing them.

We will be writing about: ¿Adónde voy este fin de semana? Mi hermano o mi hermana y una carta para responder.
8th grade Heritage class: 3rd period
No class on Monday September 10: Field trip
We will be writing about how important technology is and how it has changed our lives
8th grade class (No-Heritage class): 5th period
No class on Monday September 10: Field trip
We will be writing paragraphs using past tense and about how important technology is.
6th grade Heritage class: 6th period
We will be writing about myself "yo" y mi familia, mi clase de español. We will work on sentences with punctuation marks as well.
