Una mirada a la semana / A look to the week:
7th grade class (No-Heritage class): 1st period
We  will have our "Batalla de Deletreo" between group A and B. We will start our zone of grammar: Future tense and the verb "jugar". We will be watching a video about "El espantapajaros" y we will celebrate "El Dia de los muertos" 

No quiz this week however we will be doing activities in class and I will be grading them 
Tarea/Hw: Ask your parents or any member of your family if they have heard about el  Dia de los muertos and what they know about it? Write his/her opinion or videotaped it.

7th grade Heritage class: 2nd period
* Pictionario: it will be graded on Monday
We will definitely finish our reading about Celebrations: Historias para HispanohablantesWe will start our zone of grammar: Furture tense and the verb jugar. We will be watching a video about "El espantapajaros" y we will celebrate "El Dia de los muertos"

8th grade Heritage class: 3rd period
We  will have activities about vocabulary. We will start our zone of grammar: Past tense Irregular verbs and we will celebrate "El Dia de los muertos" . We will also work on Writing: La Leyenda de Espantapajaros 
Quiz #6: Vocabulary Unit 2. We will be doing activities in class and I will be grading them 
Tarea/Hw: Ask your parents or any member of your family what Dia de los muertos means to them? and how they celebrate it. Write his/her opinion or videotaped it

  8th grade class (No-Heritage class): 5th period
We  will have activities about vocabulary. We will start our zone of grammar: Past tense Irregular verbs and we will celebrate "El Dia de los muertos". We will also work on Writing: La Leyenda de Espantapajaros  
Quiz #6: Vocabulary Unit 2. We will be doing activities in class and I will be grading them

6th grade Heritage class: 6th period
We  will be working on vocabulary unit 2 and finish our work on Video-clip 2. We will start our grammar zone: Infinitives -ar -er -ir. We will see a video about El espantapajaros and study compound words. We will also work on el Dia de los muertos.

No quiz this week however we will be doing activities in class and I will be grading them 
Tarea/Hw: Ask your parents or any member of your family what Dia de los muertos means to them? and how they celebrate it. Write his/her opinion or videotaped
