SEMANA 2: DEL 8 AL 12 DE AGOSTO - WEEK 2: FROM AUGUST 8 TO 12 2016


Hola estudiantes:
I hope you had a great start of the school year. 
We will continue working on getting familiar with rules, expectations and procedures for this school new year in Spanish class for this week (10 days).
(Please see page about procedure and rules)

This week you will get the syllabus to take home. Please ask your parents to sign the form acknowledging that they have get and read the syllabus. You will also ask them to sign the permission media released form and the important information about the blog. This form needs to be turned on Friday August 12. 

 You will also get the front page for our first unit for the "Portafolio": "Para empezar". We will have a chapter reviewing certain topics waiting that each class will be leveled and the number of students will drop to 30. I will be checking Portafolio on Friday August 12. Everybody needs to have binder and front page complete plus assignments of the week.

FOR MY THIRD 3RD PERIOD : A Reminder of the following cafeteria etiquette:


 1.  Remain seated during lunch. Do not seat in other table
         2.   Make no attempts to pop plastic bags, clap, chant, or sing “Happy Birthday.”
        3.   Clean up behind themselves.
        4. No horse playing and no sharing seats
    *** If you don't follow these simple etiquette, I will be force to assign seats to some of you*** ( I really don't want to do it)
HOMEWORK PASSONLY FOR THIS WEEK.


Remember: Teachers are always in need of school supplies to offer students. You will get a homework pass if you bring one item for the class:
Paper towel
Tissue
Hand Sanitizer
Markers
Surface wipes
Any school material a child can benefit.
ROLE OF THE "ASISTENTE"

I will be asking someone in your class to be my assistant. This is a very important and serious role in my class. I will be talking about it in each class.
