We started our day with a delicious breakfast hosted by some students from 6th and 7th grade. We also had a band concert by our guests and some students from North Atlanta High School. Our visitor also were part of some classes, giving presentation about Colombia. They played with some Sutton students band as well.
Later they shared lunch with 8th graders and had a section with our Drama teacher. These Colombian students enjoyed the day with all of you and were very grateful.
4TH- LAST QUARTER
Students took their report card home last Friday. I am sure many of them are happy with their results of the third quarter. Parents must be proud as well.
We just started the last quarter for this school year. I hope you make the right choice for this final part: doing hw, prepare lessons and learn a lot.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK:
7TH & 8TH GRADE:
We will continue working on "Preterito". We will be able to express our thoughts in past tense using regular and irregular verbs. We will be reading a selection and work on this as well. So far we have been studied in this lesson: Body parts / Verb Doler / Preterit- Past
QUIZ #15: Vocabulary about body parts and verb DOLER on Wed March 21.
TAREA: Write a paragraph about what you did during the weekend (at least 10 sentences using regular -5 verbs and irregular -5 verbs)
6TH GRADE:
We will continue working on verbs SER & ESTAR. We also have learned how to use adverbs of place to talk about spatial location of school items.
QUIZ $ 14: : Vocabulary and verbs SER & ESTAR on Wed. March 21
TAREA: Activity 15 page 15. Students will write this activity on Monday, March 19.
