SEMANA 33: DEL 26 AL 30 DE MARZO (WEEK33: FROM MARCH 26 TO 30)

                                                       BUENOS DIAS,

Tenemos una semana mas antes de ir a las vaciones de primavera.
We have one more week before heading to spring break. I know you are very anxious about it but you need to focus and do your best this week.
SPRING PEP RALLY
We had our spring rally and No place for Hate Assembly last Friday. Students were happy cheering up for the different sport teams. We had a surprise from the BRAVES, their mascot was here: HOMER


SPIRIT WEEK
Next week's spirit week is sponsored by the PAC committee and student council.  The themes of the week is anti-bullying, helping one another, good citizenship, and some downright fun.
Lunes / Monday - Sports Day
Martes / Tuesday - Tacky Day
Miercoles / Wednesday - Decade Day
Jueves / Thursday - Twin, triplet , etc. Day
Viernes / Friday - Pay it forward Day :Let's help someone special for all SMS

FOR THIS COMING WEEK:
7TH 8TH We will continue working on PRETERIT. We have been practicing regular  verbs and and we will start using irregular verbs in our work.
If time allows we will be starting watching another cultural movie :Maricela that will allow us to discuss topics such as immigration, ideals, values, opportunities, prejudices, racial discrimination, language and peer pressure.
QUIZ#16: Preterit for regular verbs on Wednesday March 28
COMPUTER LAB: We will be working on the computer lab on Thursday, March 29th. You will be working in pairs. You need to turn in your work for this day at the end of your period. It will be grade it.
TAREA (HW): Reading comprehension. You will get this copy on Monday March 26. Remember: Tarea is due on Friday, March 30

6TH
We will continue working on verbs SER + ESTAR/ PREP. OF PLACE, HAY..; we will also be starting watching a cultural movie and we will be studying VERB 'TENER' a little deeper if time allows.
COMPUTER LAB: We will be working on the computer lab on Thursday, March 29th. You will be working in pairs. You need to turn in your work at the end of your period. It will be graded.
TAREA(HW): Answer: Based on the reading  page 140 think about how students and teachers intereact within a typical classroom in a Spanish-speaking country. What are at the least four things that you might find different from most schools in the United States?
NO HAY QUIZ ESTA SEMANA: NO QUIZ THIS WEEK. However you need to focus on your work your teacher might ask your work any day of this week.
