SEMANA 25: DEL 3 AL 7 DE FEBRERO - WEEK 25: FROM FEBRUARY 3 TO 7 2020

What does Black History Month mean to you?
To me Black History Month is not just another month; to me it means freedom, respect, opportunity, sacrifice and satisfaction. As an African American girl, I appreciate the hard work and dedication put into this month. As we go into this month I am glad that we take the time to recognize our leaders. Have you ever heard of the saying “40 acres and a mule”? Well, If you have you know it is not much. But we took that 40 acres and a mule and ran with it. And here we are today.
